Smart Contact Lenses Google Soon To Be Released

GadgetXp - Last year, Google announced the project smart contact lenses intended for the medical field. The contact lens is getting closer to reality and preparing to be released.

President of the Alphabet at the same time Google co-founder Sergey Brin said the project will be finalised Google X Lab and launched a team of Life Sciences companieswith Andy Conrad as its CEO.

"They continue to work on this project, presenting new technologies ranging from thestages of research and development, clinical trials and may just change the way weprevent and detect the disease," said Brin, as quoted GadgetXp from TechRadar, Sunday (23/8/2015).

Indeed no mention estimated time of emergence of this smart contact lenses.However, Google said the project already had a clear user goals, namely, medicalsocieties and patient.

Smart contact lenses function will focus on two areas. First, as a new medium for thediabetes patients to monitor glucose levels, blood sugar levels by measuring in liquideyes.

Second, it helps to focus your eyes on the natural objects near and restoring the ability of looking for nearsightedness. Detection function for health, contact lenses will transmit the data gathered to a smartphone or tablet.
